Juliette Clark (New Orleans) is a Volunteer Administrator for the Youth Empowerment Project, an organization that provides case management, mentoring and educational services to at-risk New Orleans youth. Juliette is currently working to co-author the organization’s first Annual Report to the Community which will come out in July 2010. Juliette is the Legal Recruiting Director for the firm.
Two of the firm’s Baton Rouge employees were recently elected to serve as officers in the Baton Rouge Paralegal Association. Kate Jordan will serve as the Second Vice President in charge of programs and Deborah Brouillette will serve as Secretary of the organization.
A new face in the firm’s ITS Department and Commissioner of the Red Stick Amateur Baseball League (RSABL) is Locke Wheeler (Baton Rouge office). Locke was quoted at length in the Sports section of The Advocate on May 20 in an article titled “Summer League Being Set Up for Collegians.” In the article, Locke commented on the success he’s seen with the adult division of the summer baseball league and the announcement of a new collegiate division of the league. Locke has served as Commissioner of the RSABL since 2004 and has played in the league since 2001.
Leading a strong support system for the Brandon (Mississippi) Police Department, Kristen Miller (Jackson office) serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Brandon Police Department Ladies Auxiliary. Through family-oriented events and fundraisers, the Ladies Auxiliary fosters camaraderie between the officers and the individuals that make up the communities in which they serve each day. Kristen is a legal assistant and has been with the firm since 2005.
