A native of New Orleans, Adair Kingsmill advises financial services companies such as automotive and personal property finance companies, online lenders, manufactured housing lenders, trade associations, and community banks, on compliance with state and federal laws relating to consumer financial products. Adair assists lenders and servicers with regulatory compliance for state and federal lending, licensing, and debt collection laws, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Adair graduated magna cum laude from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2017, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and the recipient of many academic awards. While attending law school at LSU, Adair served as a Judicial Law Extern to the Honorable Susie Morgan, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Prior to law school, Adair served as a Consumer Account Executive for Porter Novelli, a global public relations firm, where she supported consumer and technology accounts.
