BOLD (McGlinchey Black Originators, Leaders, and Doers)
BOLD (McGlinchey Black Originators, Leaders, and Doers) is a network for McGlinchey’s African, African-American, Black, and Caribbean attorneys across the diaspora. Open to all McGlinchey attorneys, the group’s mission is to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace for all, by spotlighting workplace issues unique to the community and working to effect meaningful change in the places where we live and work.
Internally, BOLD serves to support the networking and business development goals of its members and to serve as a resource to elevate the community’s position and concerns within the firm.
In the legal and business communities, BOLD aims to lend a credible voice to practical efforts to advance the interest of African American attorneys and professionals.
In McGlinchey’s home and local communities, BOLD works to advocate for and empower current and future influential voices in the African American community.
BOLD will partner with the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to advocate for initiatives and programs that improve inclusion within the firm. The DEI Committee, which is open to all attorneys and consists of attorneys and leaders from across the firm, works to promote initiatives and programs that enhance inclusion and belonging within the firm, which includes supporting and promoting attorney affinity groups.
