3 McGlinchey Team Members Recognized with ALA Awards, Appointments
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is proud to celebrate three outstanding team members whose contributions to the legal management profession have earned national recognition and leadership roles within the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).
“The legal profession is made stronger by the contributions of its administrative teams, and we are proud at McGlinchey to count some of the best in the nation among our staff,” said Al Thomas, Executive Director of Administration. “Amanda, Juleana, and Kristine demonstrate a commitment to leadership, mentorship, and innovation. Their work reflects the spirit of collaboration and forward-thinking that drives McGlinchey’s culture.”
Amanda Hall, Human Resources Coordinator, is one of five members nationally honored with the ALA NextGen Leader Award, which recognizes emerging leaders for their innovative contributions and potential to shape the future of the legal administration profession. Recipients of the NextGen Leader Award demonstrate conviction, dedication, and relentless pursuit of personal and professional excellence through their engagement, advancement, and influence in early interactions with the ALA.
Amanda also received the 2025 President’s Circle Award from the Jacksonville Chapter of the ALA, recognizing her exceptional leadership and service as Vice President. This award is only given when it is clear that a board member has made outstanding contributions to the chapter, developed solutions to problems or alternative ways of accomplishing goals, or made significant efforts in promoting the organization and profession at large.
In addition, two McGlinchey professionals have been appointed to serve in national committee roles for the ALA during the 2025–2026 term:
Regional Administrator Juleana Piper has been selected to serve on the ALA Member Ambassador Committee, where she will support new and prospective members in building meaningful connections within the organization. Juleana received the national ALA NextGen Leader Award in 2024 and served as President of the Jacksonville ALA chapter in 2023-2024. She currently chairs the chapter’s Business Partner and DEIA Committees. The Northeast Florida Paralegal Association awarded her the President’s Award in 2021, and she previously served on the Advisory Board for the Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Paralegal Studies program.
Kristine Trahan, Senior Regional Administrator, resident in Dallas, has been appointed to the Level Up: ALA’s Legal Management Fundamentals 2025 Planning Project Team, where she will help shape programming to support early-career legal professionals. Kristine also serves on the ALA national Nominating Committee and as Social Committee Chair for the Dallas ALA Chapter.
Strategic Operations Administrator Jessica VanTroost, resident in the firm’s Jacksonville office, serves on the international board of directors of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and received the President’s Circle Award from the Jacksonville ALA chapter in 2020. McGlinchey’s Marlo Brown, Ronda Ellison, Lori Graff, Anne Leche, Rose Lowther, Margeaux Roush, and Michelle Weakley and are also members of ALA and their respective local ALA chapters.
