ABA Consumer Financial Services Committee Winter Meeting 2023

Four McGlinchey attorneys will present on panels and roundtable discussions during the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section Consumer Financial Services Committee Winter Meeting at the Ritz Carlton, New Orleans, on January 21-24, 2023.

Joe Apatov (Fort Lauderdale) will participate in a panel discussion on unpacking the most recent litigation impacting FDCPA and other debt collection-related standing issues.

Aaron Kouhoupt (Cleveland) will moderate a panel on “Regulation E Dispute Resolution,” which will discuss the particular aspects of conducting an investigation in light of the Bank of America Order.

Sandy Shatz (Irvine) will moderate a roundtable on the Supreme Court’s In re Grand Jury opinion and its effect on the scope of the attorney-client privilege. 

David Tallman (Houston) will join a panel on “Cryptocurrency and Privacy: Data Security Implications and How We Might Solve Them.”
