Alexis del Rio Joins McGlinchey’s Commercial Litigation Section in Dallas
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey is pleased to welcome Alexis del Rio to the law firm’s Commercial Litigation group as an associate in the Dallas office. Alexis will focus her practice on complex corporate and contract disputes, creditors’ rights, litigation on behalf of financial institutions and lenders, and lender representation in bankruptcies and workouts.
“Alexis makes a tremendous addition to our team here in Dallas,” said Dwayne Danner, Managing Attorney of the Dallas office. “Her background in litigation makes her a significant asset to McGlinchey and our clients.”
Alexis has worked on many cases at various stages of litigation including a variety of complex commercial and personal injury cases from intake through settlement. She is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Women’s Law Association.
“We are delighted to have Alexis join our group of litigators,” said Anthony Rollo, who chairs McGlinchey’s nationwide Commercial Litigation practice group. “The knowledge she gained from her experience on the other side of the docket will serve our clients well.”
Before joining the firm, Alexis served as a supervising attorney at Bergquist Law Firm, where she negotiated settlement agreements with insurance defense counsel and conducted depositions, pre-trial hearings, and mediations.
Bilingual in Spanish and English and American Sign Language Certified, Alexis earned her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2020. While a student, she served as a law clerk in the Bexar County Criminal District Court, the office of Dan Burke, attorney at law, and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. She is a recipient of the Order of the Barristers and the Outstanding Mock Trial Award. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2016 from Texas Tech University.
