Baton Rouge attorneys Christine Lipsey and Dan West were quoted in an article in the Baton Rouge Business Report, “Inside the Latest Rise in Allegations of Attorney Misconduct.” The February 17 article follows up on an earlier piece about the apparent increase in allegations of attorney misconduct in Louisiana in 2015, despite the fact that fewer people have been filing formal complaints against their attorneys.

Christine and Dan, who serve as McGlinchey Stafford’s office of general counsel, provided background on preventing allegations of misconduct, including the importance of setting expectations from the beginning of an engagement, why attorneys should maintain a conflicts database, and effective strategies for handling client conflicts.
