Driscoll Testifies Before U.S. Senate on Police Issues
Read Time: 1 minOn Tuesday, November 17, Member Bob Driscoll testified in front of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights, and Federal Courts of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary. The hearing, titled “The War on Police: How the Federal Government Undermines State and Local Law Enforcement,” offered subcommittee members various perspectives on current issues and challenges facing local law enforcement in recent months. Bob provided testimony from the perspective of having served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Chief of Staff within the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
