Michael’s presentation will focus on lawyers’ obligations to support the law. He will draw on the unusual parallels between what happened to lawyers in Nazi Germany and what happened in Louisiana before, during, and after the Civil War.
This continuing legal education event is a complement to the Louisiana Old State Capitol’s exhibition, Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany Under the Third Reich. Following the seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the exhibit.
