Financial Litigator Rejoins McGlinchey Stafford In Dallas
Read Time: 1 minOf Counsel Aimee Guidry Szygenda (Dallas) was interviewed in “Financial Litigator Rejoins McGlinchey Stafford In Dallas” in Law360 on her recent return to McGlinchey since leaving the firm in 2018.
“I initially left McGlinchey because my children were young, and I was able to work part-time at my husband’s law firm,” she said. “My children are older now, which allows me more free time. I’ve always loved consumer finance litigation, so when I told Gregg Stevens at McGlinchey that I was interested in coming back, he got the ball rolling for me.”
Szygenda said she enjoys litigation because it continually challenges her.
“I went to Baylor Law School, which is known for focusing on litigation,” she said. “I just always assumed I would end up in litigation, but I do really enjoy litigation. I like that each case is different with different facts. Litigation is always interesting.”
“McGlinchey has always been a great place to work,” Szygenda said. “It has great attorneys in all of their offices, and it is a well-managed firm. I know and respect the attorneys I will be working with at McGlinchey and that is why it was so attractive to return.”
