Dylan, who practiced with McGlinchey from 2015-2022 as an Associate and Member, primarily practices business litigation, consumer financial services litigation, and appellate law.
“We love when a ‘boomerang’ chooses to return to McGlinchey, reinforcing our reputation as a top destination for legal talent,” said Michael Ferachi, Managing Member. “Not only does Dylan bring a wealth of knowledge spanning litigation, trials, and appeals, but he also brings welcomed leadership and energy to the firm. His return to McGlinchey is a strong endorsement of our direction and culture and we are glad to have him back.” Dylan is one of a dozen “boomerang” attorneys who have left and returned to McGlinchey.
Dylan originally joined McGlinchey as an Associate in 2015 when the firm opened its Birmingham office. He was named a Member and also moved to Nashville in 2021. Dylan is a successful courtroom lawyer who has won many dispositive motions, taken hundreds of depositions, tried several jury and bench trials, and advocated in dozens of appeals. He represents companies in a broad range of commercial litigation, products liability, shareholder disputes, toxic torts, class actions, title insurance defense, multidistrict litigation, and bankruptcy. Licensed in Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas, Dylan also maintains a presence in McGlinchey’s Birmingham, Dallas, and Jacksonville offices.
“The best part of coming home to McGlinchey is hearing how excited my clients are to have their favorite lawyers back together,” Dylan said. “The team atmosphere at McGlinchey is great for my practice as an attorney, and also our clients appreciate and benefit from our collaboration. With a solid group of talented attorneys across the nation, and outstanding business and leadership teams, I look forward to providing exceptional customer service and achieving unparalleled results for our clients.”
McGlinchey’s Nashville office, which moved into the “Batman building” last year, has added two legal and business professionals in the past month as well. This fall, Ian Joseph, a first-year Associate who has clerked with the firm for two summers, will also join the Nashville office.
“Growing our Nashville office with an attorney like Dylan, whom we not only like and respect, but whose work product we know to be stellar, is an exciting development,” said Shaun Ramey, Managing Member of McGlinchey’s Nashville office and Chair of McGlinchey’s Financial Services Litigation group. “He brings valuable experience to our deep bench of national litigators, which will allow us to grow our financial services litigation and federal appellate capabilities, in particular, for clients nationwide.”
Dylan earned a J.D. cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A. from Samford University. He is the author of Tilley’s Alabama Equity (6th ed. 2023 Thomson Reuters).
