How Law Firm Leaders Are Keeping Teams Connected
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey’s Managing Member, Michael Ferachi, was interviewed by Law360 Pulse on October 6, 2025, in “How Law Firm Leaders Are Keeping Teams Connected.” He discussed his approach to communication, which helps keep everyone on the same page across 18 offices, as well as the tools he leverages.
“Internal communications are the first tool in any law firm leader’s engagement toolbox,” said Michael Ferachi, managing member of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC.
According to Ferachi, he leads monthly town halls, which include everything from new hires, firm events and billing reminders to computer tips and updates on book clubs, football pools and walking challenges. The firm also has an internal email and intranet, to give people multiple avenues to hear updates from – and provide feedback to – the firm he said.
“Law firms can feel siloed with some attorneys inherently privy to much more information than other employees,” Ferachi said. “We have been very intentional, especially since the pandemic, to build channels and programs that make employees feel informed and included in what’s going on in the firm, and connected across geography.”
“We have tried hard to sow a culture of authenticity where employees trust and believe that management genuinely wants to know what’s going on – from me, to the executive policy committee, to office managing members, practice group leads and our senior administrative team,” he said.
