Juleana Piper Honored with 2024 ALA NextGen Leader Award
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey is pleased to announce that Juleana Piper, Regional Administrator for McGlinchey’s Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Nashville offices, has been honored with the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) NextGen Leader Award.
The NextGen Leader Award recognizes members who embody the essence of the ALA through their accomplishments, leadership qualities, and the impact they are making on their legal organization, the legal industry, and the Association. Recipients demonstrate conviction, dedication, and relentless pursuit of personal and professional excellence through their engagement, advancement, and influence in early interactions with the Association of Legal Administrators.
“I am honored to receive this recognition from the ALA,” said Juleana. “ALA sets the standard for educating, developing, and promoting administrators within the legal industry. Membership has been formative for my career and has helped me to become a better legal administrator.”
Juleana joined McGlinchey more than a decade ago as a Legal Assistant in the firm’s Florida offices. Since then, she has held numerous positions, working as a paralegal, billing coordinator, and Regional Team Lead before becoming a Regional Administrator in 2022.
Juleana held the role of President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the ALA for the 2023-2024 term and currently serves as Immediate Past President. Under Juleana’s tenure, the Chapter won its very first Elevate ALA award for its social media efforts. Since joining the organization’s Board in 2021, she has served on the Quarterly Charity and Education Committees and is presently Chair of the Business Partner Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Juleana is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Paralegal Association, and serves on the Paralegal Studies Advisory Board at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
