Litigator Michael Marcelli Joins McGlinchey as Of Counsel
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Michael Marcelli has joined the firm’s Financial Services Litigation team as Of Counsel. Affiliated with the firm’s Irvine office, Michael represents clients in the finance, insurance, and real estate spaces in a wide variety of matters. He is licensed to practice law in Licensed in Arizona, California, and New Mexico.
“McGlinchey is a good fit for my practice because its diverse service areas position me to grow my existing work spanning various topic areas and industries,” Michael said. “I’m glad to join this group to grow the firm’s services in the southwestern U.S.”
With services spanning entity formation, corporate compliance, and contractual issues, intellectual property, and litigation, Michael represents clients from individuals to multinational conglomerates. He advises clients in landlord/tenant, HOA, and contractor disputes as well as independent contractor, insurance bad faith, and breach of contract issues. With experience on the plaintiff’s side of the aisle, Michael has also written patents and prosecuted patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Michael has thirty years of experience and a previous career as a chemist. He has handled matters in bench and jury trials, on appeal, and in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) forums.
Michael is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Federal Bar Association. He earned a J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where he contributed to the Loyola Law School of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Journal. He also holds a M.A. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University. He has published in the Journal of American Chemical Society and Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry in Organometallics.
