Manufactured Housing Law Update
Manufactured Housing Law Update – July 2019
Welcome to the July 2019 Manufactured Housing Law Update. We hope everyone enjoyed the summer!
This update has a little bit for everyone. Note the fee and assessment relief for creditors operating in Washington, but the licensing requirement for changes to electrical systems in the same state.
For servicers, note the FDCPA case regarding the name of the original creditor, the case holding addressing the lack of RESPA protections for a party signing a mortgage but not the note. For those who are debt collectors under the FDCPA, and the case addressing payoff statements under Regulation Z.
Also note the changes addressing the treatment of recreational vehicles and park models in Oregon.
We have these developments, plus more. Get the full update here.
