Mary Terrell Joseph Honored By The Louisiana Association Of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) As A 2007 Louisiana Heroine
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that attorney Mary Terrell Joseph was honored today by the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) as one of the 2007 Heroine Award recipients. LANO recognized the recipients at a luncheon held at the Baton Rouge Hilton Capital Center.
The 2007 Louisiana Heroine Awards honor the outstanding contributions of time, talent and treasure from women throughout Louisiana who have committed themselves to making a difference in their community by working in the nonprofit sector. Joseph was one of 12 women who was selected to receive this award.
The Capital Area United Way nominated Joseph for the 2007 Louisiana Heroine Awards for her more than 20 years of service and dedication to their organization. During this time, Joseph served as a donor, committee volunteer, board volunteer, campaign chairman and board chairman.
In addition to her significant contributions to the community, Joseph is a member in McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge office. With more than thirty-five years of experience in the area of collections and creditors’ rights, Joseph focuses her practice on both retail and commercial collections.
