McGlinchey Attorney Camille Bryant named 2021 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow
McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce Camille Bryant has been selected to be a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD)’s 2021 class of Fellows, participating in a landmark program to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Camille is one of 418 attorneys nationwide selected for this year’s Fellows class.
Member (Partner) in the firm’s New Orleans office, Camille has a broad litigation practice, focusing on labor and employment counsel and defense as well as products liability defense. She is incredibly involved in both legal and community organizations, currently serving as President of the Greater New Orleans Chapter of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society and State Membership Chair of the Defense Research Institute, and having served as Past President of the New Orleans Association for Women Attorneys and Past Chair of the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section’s Public Service Committee.

In 2019, Camille was McGlinchey’s first participant in LCLD’s Pathfinders program for diverse, high-potential, early career attorneys. In addition, Camille was presented the 2019 Outstanding Young Lawyer award by the National Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Division, and also received the 2019 A.P. Tureaud Award by the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Society.

LCLD’s Fellows Program emphasizes development in three core competencies: relationship building, transformational leadership, and professional branding. McGlinchey has been a member of the LCLD since its inception, and has had an attorney participate in the Fellows Program every year since 2011.
Every year since 2018, McGlinchey has been honored as a Law Firm “Top Performer” by the LCLD, and the firm is a previous recipient of the LCLD’s highest recognition, the Compass Award. From the firm’s founding, McGlinchey has challenged the status quo and earned a reputation as a progressive, merit-based business that rewards individual achievement and potential. Since 2012, McGlinchey has also offered an annual 1L Fellowship through the LCLD Scholars program to a first-year law student, which includes a $5,000 scholarship, a paid Summer Associate position, and formal mentorship from McGlinchey attorneys throughout the student’s law school career.
According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business.”
The LCLD is an organization of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners working to promote inclusiveness in legal institutions, in circles of influence, and in society, with the ultimate goal of building a more open and diverse legal profession. The LCLD Fellows Program has trained nearly 2,000 mid-career attorneys since 2011.
