McGlinchey Attorney Marshall Grodner Appointed to Louisiana State Law Institute’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is proud to announce that Member (Partner) Marshall Grodner has been appointed to serve on the Louisiana State Law Institute’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee.
Formed in 1938, the institute is the official advisory law revision commission, law reform agency, and legal research agency of the state of Louisiana. The institute’s goal is to promote and encourage the clarification and simplification of the law of Louisiana and its better adaptation to present social needs, to secure the better administration of justice, and to carry on scholarly legal research and scientific legal work.
With a national reputation in commercial lending, finance, and real estate, Marshall represents both Louisiana and out-of-state lenders and borrowers in large commercial finance transactions, locally, regionally, and nationally. He is also a licensed title insurance agent and a leading voice in legal opinions as well as legal ethics and professionalism.
Marshall is also, Immediate Past President of and a Fellow in the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers, Past President of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys, Inc., Immediate Past Chair of the Commercial Finance Committee of the American Bar Association Business Law Section, a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
Marshall joins fellow McGlinchey attorney Michael H. Rubin as a member of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee.
