McGlinchey Named Among New Orleans “Best Places to Work”Read Time: 2 mins
McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that it has been named to the 19th annual “Best Places to Work” list in the “large company” category for businesses with more than 50 employees, by New Orleans CityBusiness. Selection for this recognition involves an anonymous survey of company employees to measure workplace culture.
“We talk a lot about the McGlinchey family, and knowing this award is based on employee response means a lot to us,” said Magdalen Blessey Bickford, Managing Attorney of McGlinchey’s New Orleans office. “Especially given the past 18 months, we’ve worked hard to make sure our people feel supported, engaged, and connected while working remotely due to COVID-19, and as we begin to migrate back into the physical office.”
McGlinchey’s New Orleans office is the first and largest of its 15 offices spanning the United States. Founded in 1974, the office is home to more than 100 attorneys and administrative professionals, as well as the core of the firm’s business operations, including human resources and benefits, recruiting and talent acquisition, marketing and business development, IT, accounting, library services, and many members of the Senior Administration team.
“Workplace culture and employee empowerment are two tenets of the #McGlincheyForward program that we launched earlier this year,” said Michael Ferachi, McGlinchey’s Managing Member. “We know that providing excellent service to our clients depends on our employees feeling valued and equipped to do their best work. I’m incredibly proud to have earned this recognition and of our New Orleans team.”
In addition to employee surveys, inclusion in the “Best Places to Work” list is based on extensive nominations detailing workforce data such as salaries, benefits, retention levels, and employee advancement. “Best Places to Work” honorees will be featured in the December 17 issue of CityBusiness.
