McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Mary Terrell Joseph has received Lawyer Monthly’s 2015 Women in Law Award in recognition of her work in collections law. Lawyer Monthly’s Women in Law Awards celebrate and highlight the achievements of women in the legal profession across the globe.
Mary Terrell Joseph is a Member in McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge office with over 40 years’ experience in the area of collections and creditors’ rights. A respected leader in the legal community, Joseph has earned other awards including the Crystal Gavel Award from the Louisiana State Bar Association and an annual ranking in The Best Lawyers in America and Louisiana Super Lawyers for Banking Law.
In addition to her outstanding legal career, Joseph is also a recognized leader in the Baton Rouge community, having served on numerous boards for organizations such as the Capital Area United Way, the Foundation for Excellence in Louisiana Public Broadcasting, the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, and others.
Joseph holds a J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and a B.A. from Hollins University.
The special edition of Lawyer Monthly, which will display all of the 2015 Women in Law Award recipients, will be published in May 2015.
