McGlinchey Stafford Attorneys Honored by Baton Rouge Bar Association
Read Time: 1 minBaton Rouge, LA (February 2, 2009) – McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that two of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by the Baton Rouge Bar Association for outstanding achievements and dedication to their profession. On January 15, 2009, Kyle A. Ferachi was sworn in as Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section and Amanda Stout was presented with the Judge Joseph Keogh Award.
Kyle A. Ferachi, a member in the firm’s labor and employment section, will serve as the 2009-2010 Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. As Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section, Ferachi will oversee and implement all Bar-related young lawyer activities, including the Holiday Star project, Belly-up with the Bar, Side-Bar lunches, and Cocktails with the Court. Ferachi received his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University in 2001.
Amanda Stout, an associate in the firm’s labor and employment section, is the 2009 recipient of the Judge Joseph Keogh award. The award, given annually by the Baton Rouge Bar Association, is the highest award that a young attorney is eligible to receive from the Bar Association. Stout was recognized for her high commitment to the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the community at large. Stout earned her law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University in 2003. McGlinchey Stafford member, Michael Ferachi, was the first to receive this award in 1997.
