McGlinchey Stafford Committed to Future of YouthRead Time: 1 min
McGlinchey Stafford PLLC presented a donation to Teach For America to support the training and support of five Teach for America educators in the coming two years. Mary Terrell Joseph, a partner in the firm’s Baton Rouge office, presented the check to Michael Tipton, Executive Director of Teach For America’s South Louisiana region.
Each year McGlinchey Stafford makes a donation in the names of its clients to a charity that serves the communities where the firm has offices: Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, and Texas. This year, the firm presented a monetary donation to Teach For America, an organization dedicated to providing students in low-income communities with the educational opportunities they deserve.
“McGlinchey Stafford is committed to providing educational equality in schools where resources are low and risks are high. We believe that by enlisting some of our nation’s most promising leaders to elevate the educational opportunities in low-income communities, we will help our children reach their full potential and ensure a brighter future for them, and ultimately, for our communities. Teach For America is a wonderful organization and we are honored to support their efforts,” Mary Terrell Joseph said.
