McGlinchey Stafford Increases New York Commercial Litigation Presence With Addition of Dana Carrera, Roshene Kemp, and Andrea Roberts
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that Dana M. Carrera, Roshene Kemp, and Andrea M. Roberts have joined the firm’s growing New York City office as Associates.
Carrera, Kemp, and Roberts bring a combined 15 years of experience serving financial institutions and other companies. These most recent additions to McGlinchey Stafford reflect a continuing trend of growth in the firm’s financial services and commercial litigation practices across the firm’s 12 offices in 7 states and the District of Columbia.
“We’re very excited to have Dana, Roshene, and Andrea join our New York City office, and our national commercial litigation team,” said Anthony Rollo, head of McGlinchey Stafford’s national financial services litigation practice. “They have broad experience representing financial institutions, and add a great amount of depth to our broader commercial litigation practice in New York,” Rollo added.
McGlinchey Stafford’s New York City office was established in 2014 to better serve the legal needs of key clients in the areas of financial services, business, and general civil litigation, as well as to expand the firm’s footprint in the Northeast. With the addition of Carrera, Kemp, and Roberts, McGlinchey Stafford’s New York City office has grown to 10 attorneys. The firm also has an office in Albany.
Carrera represents financial institutions and loan servicing companies in a wide range of litigation matters. She is a 2011 graduate of the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she received her Juris Doctorate.
Kemp’s practice includes consumer finance, lender liability, and creditors’ rights matters. She assists clients with litigation involving state and federal statutes including Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and New York State Banking Department regulations. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011.
Roberts has more than six years of experience as a litigator, with a background representing financial institutions in connection with both commercial and consumer real estate litigation. She also has prior experience in the areas of commercial real estate debt and equity financing, including front-end workouts. Roberts received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Pace University School of Law in 2008.
