McGlinchey Stafford Leaders Tout Equity-Driven Firm Culture
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey’s firm culture was profiled in a LAW360 article, “McGlinchey Stafford Leaders Tout Equity-Driven Firm Culture,” published on December 23, 2025. Three firm leaders, Michael Ferachi, Zelma Frederick, and Marcelle Mouledoux, highlighted their experiences and hopes for the firm.
“We committed several years ago to start testing the skills of potential young leaders, trying them out with small projects, smaller committees and giving them opportunities to gauge their interest in leadership,” Ferachi said. “As a result, we now have a group of young attorneys on our management and policy committees and serving as office managing partners. There’s a whole group of younger people coming in behind me that are going to do an outstanding job with the future of the firm.”
“I knew that if I came over here, I would not be shut out from leadership, and sure enough, I had been tapped to be practice group leader only three years later,” Mouldeoux said. “It’s nice to know that you have a voice in the direction the firm is going, having that opinion and knowing it’s being heard. There’s a lot of transparency and open communication. And even before being named equity member, you still get insight into leadership decisions and can see there’s a clear path to opportunities for people who might not have them in a more traditional setting.”
“As my children got older, I was able to shift my priorities a bit, and I told the firm that I was interested in moving onto the associate partnership track,” Frederick said. “I’m not the only person to have done that, and ultimately, they created a space and plan for me to be on an accelerated track. After meeting the benchmarks they set up, I eventually got put up for partnership and became partner several years ago.”
