McGlinchey Stafford Mourns the Loss of Our Colleague Mark New

It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of our partner and good friend, Mark New. Mark passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 26. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Mandarin United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. View Mark’s obituary here.
Mark joined McGlinchey Stafford in 2010 and was the Managing Member of the Jacksonville and Ft. Lauderdale offices. He was the firm’s first team member in Florida and played an instrumental role in the opening of our two Florida offices, as well as our Irvine and New York City offices. As a Team Leader in our Commercial Litigation section, Mark worked with auto finance companies, banks, mortgage lenders, and financial services clients. He had twenty years’ experience in complex civil and commercial litigation, jury and non-jury trials, and arbitration. Mark served on the firm’s Policy Committee, built and headed the firm’s operations in both Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale, as well as supervised attorneys in the firm’s New York City and Irvine offices.
Well-liked and highly respected by colleagues and clients alike, Mark will be sorely missed. The attorneys and staff of McGlinchey Stafford extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
