Read Time: 1 minSeptember 24, 2007 (Jackson, MS) – National law firm McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that it has renewed and extended its lease in the City Centre, a landmark Jackson office building, through 2017. Amid speculation that an increasing number of law firms are fleeing Jackson for the suburbs, McGlinchey is proudly cementing its roots downtown.
“We are excited to be staying in the City Centre. McGlinchey is a downtown Jackson law firm. We’re committed to the downtown area, and have been since McGlinchey opened an office in Mississippi,” said Hunter Twiford, managing partner of the Jackson office. “McGlinchey will be here for at least the next 10 years, and the view from the City Centre looks great.”
“We are thrilled to continue our successful relationship with McGlinchey Stafford for another 10 years,” said John Gifford, Jackson Asset Manager for Parkway Properties, the owner of City Centre. “McGlinchey Stafford is a nationally recognized law firm that understands the importance of a downtown presence. The improvements going on in our neighborhood – Pinnacle, Convention Center, King Edward, and Farish Street to name a few – were a key factor in their commitment to be a part of the changing landscape of downtown.”
McGlinchey opened its Jackson office in the City Centre building in 1995.
