McGlinchey Stafford’s Dewey Hembree Selected to Mississippi Business Journal’s Leadership in Law 2017

McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce G. Dewey Hembree has been named to the Mississippi Business Journal’s 2017 Leadership in Law class in recognition of his professional excellence and prominence in the field.
Hembree is a Member in the firm’s Commercial Litigation section and Managing Member of the firm’s Jackson, Mississippi, office. With more than 30 years of litigation experience in all Mississippi state and federal courts (including bankruptcy), Hembree primarily defends financial and lending institutions in consumer financial services and other litigation throughout Mississippi. He also represents clients in matters involving real estate, title insurance, products liability, and municipal actions, with additional practice background in complex real estate and other business and commercial transactions.
Hembree is a 1986 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law and a 1983 graduate of the University of Mississippi.
Since 2010, the Mississippi Business Journal has recognized 50 Mississippi lawyers and one “Lawyer of the Year” as part of its Leadership in Law awards. Each year, a panel selects honorees for their successes, professionalism, integrity, leadership, character, mentorship, and dedicated representation of clients. McGlinchey Stafford Member H. Hunter Twiford III was a member of the inaugural class of honorees.
This year’s Leadership in Law honorees will be honored at a reception at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson, Miss., on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m.
