McGlinchey Stafford’s Rudy Cerone Receives ‘Mid-Size Company Turnaround of the Year’ Award
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Rudy Cerone, of its Creditors’ Rights, Financial Restructuring, and Bankruptcy practice, has received the “Mid-Size Company Turnaround of the Year” Award for his work with Acadiana Management Group (AMG) in the Turnaround Management Association’s 2019 “Turnaround and Transactions of the Year” awards. The award was given at the association’s annual conference on Thursday in Cleveland.
This is the second national recognition that Cerone and McGlinchey’s Creditors’ Rights Team have earned for their work on the Acadiana Management Group (AMG) turnaround project. The M&A Advisor presented the team with the “Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year” Award in the $10 million – $25 million category at the 13th Annual Turnaround Awards on March 28, 2019. He received the award along with financial advisors and counsel for the debtor, the plan sponsor, and the unsecured creditors committee, who also worked to bring the AMG Chapter 11 case to a successful conclusion.
Based in McGlinchey Stafford’s New Orleans office, Cerone is a Member (Partner) of the firm with more than 35 years of experience in business bankruptcies and commercial litigation. “This was a team effort across multiple offices on behalf of the senior secured lender bank group,” Cerone said. He credits members of McGlinchey Stafford’s Creditors’ Rights/Restructuring, Banking, and Real Estate teams as vital partners in ensuring the bank group’s interests in the case were resolved successfully.
Turnaround Management Association‘s annual “Turnaround and Transaction of the Year” awards are given after many rounds of diligence and analysis by 13 volunteer awards committee members representing a cross section of TMA professionals. These professionals dedicate many months of time to assure that the nominated cases are properly vetted in a highly competitive field of excellent submissions.
