McGlinchey Strengthens Houston Presence with Real Estate, Financial Services, Insurance Team
Read Time: 3 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys, two paralegals, and a legal secretary to its Houston office. Joining the Houston team are Member (Partner) Branch Sheppard and Of Counsels Annarose Harding and Sara Morton. In addition, paralegals Stacy Garza De Leon and Raushan Griffin and legal secretary Haley Sheppard have also joined the firm.

This addition brings McGlinchey’s Houston office headcount to 18 attorneys and 14 business and legal professionals. These six newest employees join McGlinchey from Galloway. Bilingual paralegal Dorismel Alvarez also joined the office in early January.

Branch Sheppard is a seasoned litigator with a focus on the real estate, financial services, and insurance industries. His practice spans matters ranging from bankruptcy, title work, transactional real estate, mortgage litigation, foreclosure, and eviction to commercial/business litigation and estate planning and probate. Licensed in Texas state and federal courts as well as appellate and bankruptcy courts, Branch is a member of the Houston Bar Association and State Bar of Texas. He holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Political Science.

Annarose Harding’s practice focuses on representing lenders and secured creditors in real estate foreclosures and evictions, mortgage and credit reporting litigation, ad valorem property tax suits, and bankruptcy matters as well as business litigation. Before entering private practice, she worked in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, both as an attorney law clerk for Hon. Karen K. Brown and as a courtroom deputy during law school. She advises financial institutions related to state and federal consumer protection statutes and offers a specialized knowledge of lending liability claims involving home equity loans (HELOCs) and reverse mortgages. She has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America’s Ones to Watch in Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights. Annarose is admitted to practice in Texas state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. She graduated cum laude with her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston and holds a B.A. in Government from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Sara Morton handles a broad range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and property damage defense, employment, real estate, insurance defense, mass/toxic torts, class actions, and general commercial litigation. She has litigated on behalf of individuals, small businesses, and large corporations, securing hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for her clients. Her 13 years of experience as a plaintiffs’ attorney provides Sara with valuable insights into opposing counsel’s rationale and processes. Sara has been recognized among Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Licensed in Texas state and federal courts, she holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
