McGlinchey Supports Veterans at the 2025 New Orleans Bar and Grille Cooking Competition and Fundraiser
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey’s New Orleans attorneys and business professionals participated in the 2025 New Orleans Bar and Grille, a law firm cooking competition and fundraiser that supports the Veteran Justice Fellowship. The annual event took place at the Peristyle at New Orleans City Park on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Our “Bayou McGlinchey” team of amateur chefs, comprising associates, administrators, and legal support professionals, traded their suits for shrimp boots and served up Shrimp and Crab Sauce Piquant, Tempura-Fried Bread Pudding Bites, and a “Swamp Water” cocktail. The McGlinchey team earned second-place wins in the Best Traditional Dish and Best Dessert categories, and brought home the trophy for third-place Best Overall.
Bar and Grille is a law firm cooking competition and fundraiser hosted by the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the New Orleans Bar Association. Proceeds from the event support the Veterans Justice Fellowship, which provides civil legal help to address the needs of low-income veterans in the New Orleans area. Learn more.
