McGlinchey Welcomes 12 Summer Associates in 6 Offices

McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to welcome 12 law students for the firm’s 2025 Summer Associate Program. Spanning six offices nationwide, these students bring a wide array of experience, perspective, and academic achievement to the firm’s robust summer program.
“We are proud to host this talented group of summer associates across our national footprint,” said Margeaux Roush, Director of Talent Acquisition. “Their diverse experience, legal prowess, and enthusiasm for learning reflect the strength of our next generation of attorneys.”

At Loyola Law, Chris Caldarera serves as articles editor of the Loyola Law Review and worked as a teacher’s assistant. He was awarded “Best Advocate” for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Top 4 Finish in Trial Advocacy, and served as secretary for the Catholic Law Students Society. He interned for the Hon. Jay C. Zainey, U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Louisiana and worked for four years as a financial advisor between college and law school. Chris earned a B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University, where he was involved with Big Buddies, The Reveille, LSU Club Baseball Team, and the Mortar Board Honor Society.
Amber Clement has worked as a legal intern for the Louisiana Office of the Attorney General and the Louisiana Sea Grant program. At LSU Law, she has worked as production editor and article manager for the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, as a research assistant and tutor, and in leadership in the Student Bar Association and Energy Law Society. Amber earned a B. S. in Psychology from LSU, where she worked as a note taker for the office of Disability Services.
Jonathan Cutri serves as co-chief articles editor of The Ohio State Law Journal and an admissions ambassador. Previously, Jonathan worked as a legal intern for Cleveland Metroparks. He graduated magna cum laude in each of his major areas of undergraduate study, earning a B.S. in Business Administration with honors in Accounting and B.A. in Psychology from The Ohio State University, where he worked as a residence advisor.
At the Columbus School of Law, Alex Kagan is a research assistant for multiple professors, Symposium editor of the Catholic University Law Review, vice president of the Guild of Catholic Lawyers, and president of the Federalist Society. He worked as an intern in the Florida Attorney General’s office, Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, New Civil Liberties Alliance, and, prior to law school, worked at the Harvard Law School Religious Freedom Clinic. Alex studied at the University of Dallas before graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Politics.
Joseph Kehrli is pursuing an Estate Planning and Taxation certificate at LSU Law. He is a senior editor for the Louisiana Law Review and involved with the Sports, Entertainment, & Media Law Society and Public Interest Law Society. He completed a judicial externship for Hon. Shelly D. Dick for the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Louisiana and a legal internship for Louisiana Sea Grant. Joseph holds a B.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism from LSU, where he worked as a sports editor for The Reveille. He also interned with the Carolinas Golf Association.
Isabella Lodrigue works as the senior articles editor for the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources and as a member of the LSU Law External Trial Team, Women Law Students Association, and others. She is also pursuing an Estate Planning & Taxation Certificate and a Diploma in Comparative Law. She has various intern and clerk experiences and serves as an academic tutor. Isabella graduated summa cum laude from LSU with a B.S. in International Trade and Finance and was named the 2022 Outstanding Student in Microeconomics.
Prior to law school, Kiley Lord earned an M.A. in Communications Studies with a concentration in Rhetoric & Political Communication as well as a B.A. in Communications Studies from the University of Alabama. During her master’s study, she served as a graduate teaching assistant. At LSU Law, Kiley has earned the CALI Award for four classes and serves as the vice president of External Competitions for the Board of Advocates. Previously, Kiley worked as a legal extern for the Hon. John deGravelles in the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Louisiana and in the Louisiana Governor’s Office of Rural Development.
Susanna Maheras is senior editor for the Northeastern University Law Review and involved in the Intellectual Property Law Society, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and Women’s Law Caucus. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Skills class. Susanna interned for the Hon. Myong Joun of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and worked for the Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts, Tenacity youth program, and the Chelsea Collaborative. Prior to law school, she worked as girls’ tennis coach at Maimonides School in Brookline. Susanna earned a B.A. with Distinction in Government from the University of Virginia.
Returning for her second summer with McGlinchey, Amber Meghani attends the University of Houston Law Center. She is incoming communications editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and incoming president of the Muslim Legal Student Association. She has also worked as student attorney for the Law Center’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, an intern at Wells Fargo, and research assistant at Project SEED Lab in Austin. Amber earned a B.A. in international relations and global studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
Carly Morris is the managing editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest. She attended the COP29 Azerbaijan United Nations Climate Change Conference as an observer delegate and serves as president of the Environmental Law Society and treasurer of the LGBTQ+ Law Student Association (Lambda). She has served as an intern for Hon. Honorable Justice Robert B. Foster of Massachusetts Land Court and for the Conservation Law Foundation’s Clean Air and Water Program. Carly graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont, where she served as a teaching assistant.
Jayla Pruitt attends Tulane University Law School, where she serves as head coach for the Moot Court Alternate Dispute Resolution and is involved with the Black Law Students Association, Student Bar Association, and Tulane Sports Law Society. She helped organize the Tulane Women in Sports Law Symposium, worked as compliance intern with the Sun Belt Athletic Conference and Tulane Athletics, and clerked with the Tulane Legal Assistance Program and Scrivner Legal Technologies. Jayla worked for six years with the West Austin Youth Association (WAYA), including as athletic director. She holds a B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Texas at Austin, and studied abroad at the University of Lausanne and the University of Cape Town.
At Loyola College of Law, Gordon Rand is editor in chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal, vice president of the Maritime Law Society, and a member of the Trial Advocacy staff. He has clerked at various firms and earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Mississippi. He previously worked as sous-chef at Lenora’s Restaurant in Oxford, MS.
