“We are happy to welcome Aimee back to McGlinchey’s Dallas office,” said Dwayne Danner, Dallas Office Managing Member. “Her familiarity with the particular considerations at play in financial services litigation complements the offerings we provide here in Texas for clients nationwide.”
After leaving McGlinchey in 2019, Aimee worked as Of Counsel at boutique litigation firm Lillard Wise Szygenda PLLC. There, her practice focused on representing energy companies in commercial and general civil litigation matters.
“Aimee is a wonderful addition to bring back to our litigation team,” said Shaun Ramey, Co-Chair of McGlinchey’s Financial Services Litigation practice group. “Her litigation skills and approach to client engagement will prove beneficial for the financial institutions we advise, and we look forward to applying her unique perspective in service of their goals.”

She often defends claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Texas Debt Collection Act (TDCA). In addition, Aimee often defends cases for automotive financing clients sued under the FTC Holder in Due Course Rule. Her representation of financial services clients extends to commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, and identity theft.
Aimee earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2000. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997.
