McGlinchey’s Amy Monett Chosen for ILTA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Amy Monett, Applications Trainer resident in the firm’s Baton Rouge office, has been elected to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
The DEIC’s purpose is to advance ILTA’s core value of “foster diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the ILTA community.” The committee is made up of twelve people from nationwide law firms and leading technology companies. Amy will serve on the committee from 2024 to 2026, giving her time to explore the role and implement larger-scale change.
Amy joined McGlinchey in 2020, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in technology education and training. She is also a member of McGlinchey’s Ministry of Fun (MOF), a sub-group of McGlinchey’s Wellness Works initiative that concentrates on fun firm activities to promote camaraderie and connectivity.
ILTA is a volunteer-led, staff-managed association focused on premiership. It aims to educate and connect members with peers to support their work in the legal sector. While ITLA has a strong focus on technology, its offerings support professionals of every stripe in law firms and corporate/government legal operations.
