McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge Office Signs Lease in II Rivermark Centre
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease to move its Baton Rouge office into II Rivermark Centre in June 2025.
“It’s a beautiful space, and the Wampold team has done a wonderful job of taking another Baton Rouge landmark and bringing it into the contemporary era,” said Zelma Murray Frederick, Managing Member of McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge office. “We toured numerous spaces around the city and decided that it was important to our people to stay downtown. I am personally excited for McGlinchey to be a part of this new chapter of one of downtown’s most iconic buildings.”
The Baton Rouge office is McGlinchey’s second largest, with 44 employees including attorneys, legal staff, and firm administration. McGlinchey will rent an entire floor in the commercial portion of the Wampold Companies’ newly renovated Rivermark Centre, formerly known as the Chase North Tower. The firm had previously occupied various floors and offices in One American Place since 1993, when McGlinchey merged with the law firm of Rubin, Curry, Colvin, and Joseph to open McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge office.
“Our operations have changed since the Covid pandemic, and with that, our office needs have shifted. This space offers us the functionality to grow our team, work collaboratively both down the hall and across our national footprint, and stay nimble to adapt as legal workforce needs evolve,” said Michael Ferachi, the firm’s Managing Member, also resident in Baton Rouge. “We are excited to find a great space downtown that offers the functionality we’re looking for, with the bonus of supportive, local ownership and management.”
McGlinchey was founded in New Orleans in 1974 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The firm is supported in its commercial leasing efforts by Property One. WHLC Architecture will support the architectural layout and design for the II Rivermark office space.
