A leader inside McGlinchey, Camille chairs the firm’s African American Affinity Group, co-chairs the New Orleans Strategic Growth Committee, and is active in many other committees. Dan advises clients facing challenging issues and regulatory scrutiny. He chairs the firm’s Enterprise Litigation and Government Investigations practice group of almost 30 attorneys. Dan helps financial services companies and other clients embroiled in ethics charges, criminal proceedings, and regulatory proceedings, and has prepared and represented witnesses in proceedings before Congress and regulatory agencies.
As a litigator, Dan is a major asset to clients when dealing with board-level risk profiles, taking on cases in which the fundamental reputation or business model of a company are at risk. With 30 years of experience defending clients in complex litigation and investigations, Dan is one of a very few Louisiana-based lawyers who have handled multiple Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigations.
Dan is active in his community, serving as the president of the Elmwood Plantation Estates Homeowners’ Association and as a former board member of the Lower Garden District Association (formerly the Coliseum Square Association). Dan also served for more than 15 years as a member of the Parish Council and Finance Committee of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
He has also been active as the State Coordinator and Senior Instructor for the Revolutionary War Veterans Association, and served as a Board Member and Range Safety Officer for the Southeast Louisiana Firearms Society.
