McGlinchey’s Irvine Office Moves to Centralized, Flexible Location
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that its Irvine office has moved. The new office, located at 2050 Main Street, is convenient to the courthouse in downtown Irvine.
“This move is in line with our national growth strategy, positioning us to build out a comprehensive suite of legal services in Southern California,” said Michael Ferachi, Managing Member. “With each office opening or move, McGlinchey embraces a progressive, collaborative office layout. We are excited that this new space offer uniform office formats with hoteling options and prioritized meeting space with video conferencing capabilities.”
The new office space houses eleven uniform offices which are consistent for attorneys and staff alike, with no workstations/cubicles. Office assignments are based on frequency of in-office attendance, gradually transitioning from the traditional static office layout to a hoteling model. The fully-renovated 5,300-square-foot space maximizes its footprint and includes a wellness room, a conference room, and two smaller meeting rooms with windows and views.
“We have numerous trials each year, and this office provides us with nice facilities near the courthouse, as well as good access to freeways and the airport, making trial preparation and travel seamless,” said Michelle McCliman, Managing Member of McGlinchey’s Irvine office. “This space offers flexibility for those who prefer to work from the office and those who prefer to skip the traffic and get an early start working from home.”
McGlinchey’s Irvine team includes 16 employees: eight attorneys, three paralegals, and five legal and administrative staff members. Resident across a wide swath of California, these employees work a mixture of in-office, remote, and hybrid schedules, and gather together for community events multiple times per year.
“The building, amenities, parking, and overall space were just a winning package,” said Michelle Weakley, McGlinchey’s Director of Administration. “The location is just down the road from our current building, which minimizes the commute transition for our employees. In addition to our renovated office space, the new complex features a lovely outdoor common area with a pond and fountain that will provide our people with a nice opportunity for breaks and networking.”
The Irvine team currently handles a spectrum of matters ranging from financial services compliance and litigation to complex civil litigation. The latter consists of general litigation, homeowners association (HOA) and landlord/tenant issues, employment, trade secrets, trademarks/ copyrights, business disputes, environmental and toxic tort claims, and others. The team is especially known for its success in the jury trial context. The most recent hire, Thomas Van, joined the firm in October.
