McGlinchey’s Ronnie Johnson Elected to State Law Resources Board of Directors

Johnson, a member (partner) in the firm’s Dallas and Baton Rouge offices, to its board of directors for a three-year term. State Law Resources is an international network of independent law firms. Members of SLR’s board are hand-selected for their years of experience in government relations and administrative and regulatory law. Only one firm from each state or jurisdiction may be a member, and McGlinchey will serve as the member firm for the state of Louisiana.
“I am honored to serve on the board of this esteemed organization,” said Ronnie. “I look forward to connecting with lawyers from a variety of jurisdictions and providing a wide range of clients with legal strategies that meet their needs.”
Ronnie advises clients nationwide on insurance regulatory, government relations and procurement, and litigation matters. His clients – based in the U.S. and abroad – include national and international insurance and reinsurance companies, underwriters, and agencies, as well as international manufacturers of automobiles and heavy equipment. In his government procurement practice, Ronnie negotiates contracts and agreements with governmental agencies on behalf of clients. In his insurance regulatory practice, Ronnie represents insurance entities with licensing, market conduct, solvency, and reinsurance matters, and he represents insurance producers in licensing and market conduct matters.
