Melissa Harris (New Orleans) and Robert Savoie (New Orleans) presented at the National Council of Higher Education Resources’ 2017 Knowledge Symposium, on the topic “Surviving a CFPB Examination and Investigation.” Melissa and Robert shared their thoughts on how best to prepare for a supervisory examination by the CFPB, how to effectively defend a CFPB investigation, what steps should be taken in order to comply with the CFPB’s findings, and best practices for developing a robust compliance management system.
