Targeted Financing Strategies

Member J. Patrick Beauchamp co-presented on “Targeted Financing Strategies” at the 2016 CDFA Louisiana Financing Roundtable Conference on November 1 in New Orleans. The presentation addressed Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Special Assessment Districts, which have become powerful financing mechanisms available to help communities concentrate development opportunities into targeted locations. Within the session, Pat and his co-presenter discussed their experience using these tools to catalyze public improvements that spur private investment.
