Marshall Grodner (Baton Rouge) will participate in an American Bar Association Business Law Section webinar on “The Nuts and Bolts of Asset-Based Lending” on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The panel will dive deep into the essentials of structuring an asset-based lending loan.

Topics covered will include the borrowing base for accounts, inventory, equipment, and real estate, setting reserve requirements, forms of cash dominion, eligibility requirements, collateral reporting, financial covenants, and security interests.

Special attention will be given to adjusting reserves, frequency of borrowing base certificate delivery, appraisals, field exam reports, and alternative structures for excess availability.
