Two Litigation Associates Join McGlinchey Across the Southeast
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced Associates to the firm’s Financial Services Litigation practice group in the mid-south: Bailee Curtis in Birmingham and Taylor D. Weatherspoon in Jackson.

Bailee defends lenders and financial institutions against claims arising under federal and state consumer protection statutes. She also represents clients in connection with contract disputes and business torts such as interference with business and contractual relations. Bailee brings previous experience handling disputes in the insurance and medical malpractice context. She has tried several bench trials in Alabama State Court and has Appellate experience that resulted in a published opinion by the Alabama Supreme Court. Licensed in Alabama, she is based in McGlinchey’s Birmingham office. Bailee holds a J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law, where she was a member of the National Trial Team and Trial Advocacy Board. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Political Science and Public Relations.

Taylor joins McGlinchey’s Jackson Office and defends financial institutions and other businesses in a wide range of litigation. Before joining McGlinchey, Taylor managed a large caseload in personal injury and civil litigation matters. She also worked as an intern with the AmeriCorps Office of Inspector General and as a Legislative Intern with the Mississippi House of Representatives. Licensed in Mississippi, Taylor is a member of the Magnolia Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. Taylor earned a J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and graduated summa cum laude from Tougaloo College with a B.S. in Political Science.
