Understanding the New Receivership Act UCRERA
The Uniform Commercial Real Estate Receivership Act (UCRERA) became law in Florida on July 1, 2020. Florida is one of only nine states that have adopted UCRERA and marks a new era for Florida courts.
Manuel Farach (Fort Lauderdale) will participate in a panel discussion on the legislation and its implications for commercial real estate hosted by the Miami Association of Realtors on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Manny served as the Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Business Law Section’s Legislative Committee and assisted the UCRERA Task Force to gain the support of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and to shepherd it through the Florida Legislature.
