On Thursday, November 10, 2022, Marshall Grodner (Baton Rouge) will join a panel on “Unpacking the Boom: What Your Company Needs to Know about NFTs 2022,” hosted by the Practising Law Institute (PLI). After completing the program, participants will understand how NFTS are used in business transactions, including using NFTs as collateral, perfecting security interests in NFTs, and valuation, knowing financial issues surrounding NFTs, including securities laws, money transmission laws, and regulations, AML, OFAC prohibited countries and potential risks and strategies around the use of digital currencies, and apply how federal and state tax laws and regulations apply to NFTS.
