Member Marshall Grodner (Baton Rouge) will participate in a CLE panel titled “Why Does My Lawyer Have to Do That? Ruminations on Legal Ethics and Professionalism” on November 14, 2024, during the Secured Finance Network (SFNet) 80th Annual Convention in Houston, Texas.
Panelists will discuss a lawyer’s ethical and other obligations to clients, clients’ customers, and other third parties, including hot topics in ethics and professionalism in legal practice. This presentation will include discussions of important recent ethics opinions, conflicts of interest, the unauthorized practice of law, communications with represented and unrepresented parties, and artificial intelligence.
