Acquisition of an industrial processing facility from a seller in bankruptcy

McGlinchey Stafford represented the client as local counsel in the financing and acquisition of a large industrial processing facility in south Louisiana from a seller that was in the midst of bankruptcy proceedings. Our scope of work included insuring title, issuing mortgage enforceability opinions, and helping to navigate issues that arose from the seller’s bankruptcy. We are currently working on the client’s refinancing of the property in the same capacity.
