Lead counsel in a complex global transaction

McGlinchey Stafford served as lead counsel to a Louisiana Limited-Liability Company and related entities for the purchase of real estate-secured debt. The transaction included the sale of residential real property, as well as the sale of related rights in intellectual property and entitlements, and the formation of entities to bring in an investor for a part of the commercial portion of the development. The transaction also included working through financing and lease issues surrounding the sale of another piece of cross-collateralized real property that has operated on the property under a ground lease for the last decade.
