Prosecuted claims on behalf the owners of a $30-million commercial development in a suit against a bankrupt general contractor and surety when the contractor failed to complete the project in Mississippi.
Represented the owners of a 1,700-acre sand mine and related sand drying and storage facility in a suit against the general contractor who failed to complete construction of the $30-million facility and instead filed for bankruptcy protection during the project. We brought suit against the general contractor and bonding company, seeking to enforce the owners’ rights under the performance bonds. We were able to negotiate a successful resolution of the dispute and dismissed the litigation.
