Responsibilities included reviewing mortgage loan documents, researching cure options for legal deficiencies in the loan documentations, reviewing applicable state law requirements regarding standing to foreclose or effectuating a lien release, corresponding with local county clerks to resolve property records recording issues, preparing assignment of mortgages and lien releases for recording with the county clerk, and drafting loan file recommendations to remedy outstanding issues.
