Aaron Gottlieb is an accomplished litigator who focuses his practice on representing financial institutions such as national banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, auto finance companies, and other consumer financial service providers in state and federal court. He defends the firm’s lending and servicing clients in claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Texas Debt Collection Act (TDCA), Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (TDTPA), and other Federal and State statutes. He also assists with matters involving bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.
Aaron’s previous positions have equipped him with broad experience in various areas of commercial litigation, financial services, and bankruptcy law (including Chapters 7, 11, and 13). He also has experience in an array of transactional and corporate matters.
