From small, family-owned businesses to large, publicly-traded companies, I thrive on helping my clients solve problems, whether they involve routine operations or catastrophic incidents. The daily variety and ever-evolving tasks in litigation drew me to this work, and I enjoy collaborating with my clients to help steer them through what can be an uncertain and stressful time.
Alexander Cochran is a trial attorney with experience managing cases along every step of the litigation path, from initial investigations all the way to post-trial briefings. He represents clients in industries including manufacturing, construction, energy, retail, and transportation, among others.
A versatile litigator, Alex has experience with products liability, premises liability, catastrophic accidents, and other complex litigation. He served as lead counsel on a complex Multi-District Litigation property damage case involving thousands of plaintiffs, which reached a favorable result. He has also taken and defended fact- and expert-witness depositions, briefed and argued dispositive motions, performed complex fact investigations, and handled other aspects of the litigation process.
Alex enjoys sinking his teeth into a voluminous set of documents and emerging with a strong command of facts to out-think and out-work the other side, while maintaining the respect of opposition and clients alike. Before his law career, Alex uncovered a passion for helping businesses solve their problems while working for six years as sales representative for an exotic meat distributor. During law school, he interned for the Texas Dept. of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel in Fort Worth.
